I am writing to provide feedback regarding my recent eye examination on May 21 at this clinic. While the medical aspects of the visit were addressed, I felt the overall service was significantly rushed. Furthermore, I was charged approximately $40.00 for an additional service (retinal imaging]). I am concerned that I was not given a proper heads-up regarding this procedure. The explanation provided was extremely brief and fast, and it did not clearly mention that this specific service would not be covered by my insurance, resulting in an unexpected out-of-pocket expense. Moving forward, I would appreciate receiving clear, verbal, and written consent, including the full cost and insurance coverage status, before any ancillary procedure is performed. I love Dr Patel, his daughter, and the man who helps fit the glasses! Always very personable! Been going to them for years!!

Dr. Patel and his team are fantastic. I've been going for a decade upon moving here from DC. Services are professional and staff is courteous. No pressure to buy in house or add on extras. Always accommodating and gives best advice on insurance coverage- ie what meets patients needs. Patel remembers patients and treats you like family.

I used to go to Dr. Patel and went elsewhere because of the folks handling - or lack of it- the eye wear. Took a ridiculous amount of time for a simple task. However, it was time for my annual eye exam and my beef was not with him - until now. "Beef' might be a bit strong, but I do have concerns. My time with him was approximately 10 minutes. I have been seeing eye doctors for the past 20 years and this was the quickest I have ever been seen. I feel as my eyes grow older, so do my concerns. He showed me one set of letters and wa la, instantly knew what to do. So is he that good or have I been slighted. It is not like there was a room of folks behind me and so what. I waited my turn. We all love Dr. Patel; he is truly our family doctor. From the staff at the front desk, to the sales staff to Dr. Patel himself, they are warm, inviting and remember us and our unique care needs.
