Sandy Lake Rehabilitation and Care Center

A BIG shout out to Grace, the activities director at Sandy Lake Rehab Center. She always has a smile on her face and she seems to know every resident there by their name. She organizes activities to keep the residents busy and happy. There are always seasonal activities and she also decorated the halls and common areas for the holidays. Her effort makes the residents’ stay more pleasurable!

Grace, the Activities Director at Sandy Lake Rehabilitation and Care Center, is truly wonderful. She is incredibly friendly, kind, and genuinely cares about the residents. She takes such great care of my aunt, and it gives our family so much peace of mind knowing she’s there. Grace plans engaging, thoughtful activities that keep residents active, social, and smiling — it’s clear she puts her heart into everything she does. We are so grateful for her dedication and compassion.

My father spent 8 days here recovering from sepsis, and a minor heart attack. Everyone we encountered in his short stay were kind, helpful, and very pleasant to be around. So many kind, and caring people, but there were some that we must name starting with the first person we met. It was Grace the activities director. She was so helpful, and informative. Others we need to mention because of their kindness were his caseworker Shontay, Eugene, and Linda his amazing helpers that kept him smiling. Tracy, and all of her nurses. India, and Palak who made PT, and OT fun. We will miss all of them.

This center is an amazing and welcoming place overall. Grace is really kind and easy to talk to, and she clearly cares about what she does. She helps make the environment more positive and makes people feel comfortable. She puts effort into her work, and it shows in how smoothly things run and how supported everyone feels. All the residents feel involved in her activities.

Firdoshi, Surjenna, Rebecca and Eugene are just a few of the absolute rock stars at Sandy Lake Rehabilitation. My mother has been a resident here for several years and they have taken excellent care of her. Very skilled care very kind and compassionate people. They truly love the residence here.
