San Antonio Urgent Care Plus Ontario

I do not recommend this location, especially on weekends. My visit on 2/7/26 was extremely disappointing from start to finish. First, there were no X-rays available, which severely limits the ability to properly assess injuries. Despite having an appointment, I was not seen until nearly two hours later. While waiting, a woman in the front office experienced a seizure during check-in. The front desk staff did act quickly and appropriately by calling 911. However, the practitioner came out briefly, asked other patients to watch the woman, and then returned to her office to continue checking in patients. Great place for a quick Doctors visit. They are very friendly and fast. I have come here for my husband, kids and for myself. Front desk is always helpful and they see you quickly. Waiting for them to add x ray machines so we completely eliminate ER visits if it’s not a life threatening situation.

Don’t go here if you have TRIWEST or insurance with the VA. They won’t accept you. Which is weird because I believe urgent care facilities are like Emergency Rooms. They are supposed to accept any veteran. But lesson learned, I guess.

Extremely disappointed with the follow-up care at this urgent care. I visited for an urgent issue and while the initial visit was fine, the problems started afterward. I was given very minimal instructions on how to care for my condition after leaving— and after receiving diagnosis, no clear guidance, no written instructions, as requested. I was also told I would receive a follow-up call regarding test results and next steps, which took three days as the facility did not follow through timely. I reached out multiple times, and was placed on hold for long periods of time. For a facility that claims to provide urgent and reliable care, the lack of communication and responsibility is unacceptable.

They weren't busy the two days I was there, so I was helped quickly. I was there for a tuberculosis (TB) skin test. They were fast and efficient. I would like to note that they were the least expensive place to go. When your future employer suggests minuteclinic, skip that idea because you'll never get in and they will charge you more than twice as much for the same service. I highly recommend the San Antonio Urgent Care in Ontario, or at all their other locations, for all of your urgent care needs.
