Sam's Club Pharmacy

Never updates prescription status online and you're lucky if they bother to call you when it's ready (if it ever is). Called them today because my toddlers medication has been "processing" for over a week. Was told that it was ready for pickup, so my husband stopped by after work, just to be told that it was never filled and that he'd have to wait. This is the second time they've done this with her medication. They also did something similar with a medication that I take, but at least in that case I got a call saying that it was ready for pickup, even though they never updated the status.

O. My. I have a story to tell you about how Sam's Pharmacy saved a sister. I am new to Pittsburgh and found that my insurance wasn't kicking in as I thought. I had been going back and forward with my doctor in Arkansas trying to figure out how to get diabetes medication. It got to the point where I was completely out for over a month. I contacted this Sam's Club after failed attempts at other locations. The pharmacy that helped me was wonderful. I didn't get her name but one thing - she listened and when I got off the call I was put at eased that there was a plan. I had insurance but no way to show it. I don't what happened. You will die of old age trying to get someone to pick up the main number. BECAUSE THEY NEVER EVER DO!!!!!!! You have to push the optical e dept and hope they pick up and have them transfer you. If that even works. It is a joke! Why even have it
