Saline Memorial Hospital: Emergency Room

my daughter (12 months old) & was diagnosed with flu a & bronchitis- nothing crazy, cough was pretty gnarly & was acting just not like herself which is why we brought her in. the aprn we saw was incredibly kind & helpful as was the intake nurse. we were told at discharge that they were prescribing some meds to help & that they would be sent to our pharmacy. great! we go to the pharmacy- nothings there. we wait until today- still nothing. call the ed charge nurse "we don't send meds. it was in your discharge paperwork." i don't see any paper prescriptions, but at the bottom of the first page it has the meds listed "yes take that to the pharmacy, they can fill it from that". pharmacy can't fill a prescription that isn't there, so i call back. a different nurse says "okay, we'll print it off

Never have I gone to the hospital for help and left feeling worse. My nurse didn't even give me a blanket or pillow while I was covered in chills shaking from being cold, while vomiting almost every 10-15 minutes. I know I was experiencing a panic attack from vomiting so much with stomach bug. They gave me three different types of nausea medicine, no anxiety meds to help calm down my situation or bring comfort. The nausea pills did nothing but make me dizzy, I vomited again once home though so I threw them all up over time...just felt like a useless visit. Altogether I threw up 7 times in 4 hours and got no answers or real concern shown to me. Nurse did the bare minimum to make sure she was covered without bringing the patient real comfort and information. My NP was fine. She came into th

ER staff was very professional and took excellent care of me from the time I arrived to the time I departed. Huge thank you to Dr. Simmons for being so professional, listening to my concerns and finding a solution to getting me better as fast as possible. ER visits are so expensive but the care I received is worth every penny.

Absolutely horrible experience my coworkers had to call and ambulance while I was at work because I felt like I was about to faint couldn't breath and had pretty bad pain in my legs I get to the hospital they do and ultrasound on my leg and see nothing they took no blood work or anything else said go home take ibuprofen you'll be fine. I was in fact not fine I went to the er here in conway the doctor new immediately something wasn't right turns out I have POTS. If only the people at this e.r gave a damn about there patients and listened. Had the nerve to tell me its anxiety I was pissed.

Had a great experience today when we had to take my mother in law in for a severe head laceration. She has really bad dementia and is a difficult patient at best. Dr. Parsley was calm, kind and very caring. He took care of her like I imagine he would one of his own family members! Our nurse, Arthur was equally amazing and very patient, with a patient that didn’t want to sit still long enough to get her stitches and dressing on. I’m so grateful for everyone’s kindness and tenderness. We received great care and compassion!
