Saint Francis Hospital South

Tuesday, I had to go to the emergency room, and yesterday, I had a procedure done on my heart. I was discharged today, and I already feel better. Now, I'm posting this to brag on the greatest hospital in Tulsa, St. Francis South. Their procedures and functioning are impressive. But the BEST feature of this hospital is the gang of servants of medical mercy, from the part-timers to the over-timers. I have never been cared for by such kind, helpful, , and downright funny group of folks in my life. They came into my room fairly often, to check on my needs, offer some encouragement, and stay a while to swap stories. A very humorous and compassionate bunch. Had an outpatient procedure, everyone was kind and compassionate. Explained the procedure well and made me feel very comfortable. I will continue using Saint Francis Hospital South for my care.

A few weeks ago I had the unfortunate experience of having to be hospitalized. From the time I came to Saint Francis south; I was treated as if, I was a vip or a big money donor. The staff in the emergency room provided excellent comprehensive compassionate complete care for me. When I was transferred to the 2nd floor the service was even better. The entire team no matter what shift it was; they all produce a level real health care. They listen as well as advocated on your behalf to ensure your care is essential for your betterment. This wasn't superficial or we were trained to be like this. They do the "my pleasure" type of service. They genuinely cared from the heart and the soul. My dad has been at this hospital 4 times in the last 6 months with respiratory things. The nurses are top shelf and janitorial duties are taken care of. But Please stop wearing perfumes and fabric softeners. Respiratory patients dont need your extra flavor of perfumes aftershave and snuggle or downy.

My husband's grandmother was admitted for 3 or 4 days last month and we could not say better things about all of the staff and her care during her stay. She spoke praises about all of her nurses. She was moved to a different room three times due to her improving condition and her level of care was maintained with each change. The Hopsitalist, Jennifer Feighner M.D. was fantastic. We had several family members in and out each day and she was very patient to explain the tests, test results, and medication changes to each family member. Even though I'm sure we were annoying with our questions, she never made us feel like she was too busy to answer questions, and she explained it on a level that everyone could understand.
