Sage Dental of Tavares

Seems like a very nice place I was told my exam would be free for the first time. Showed up to appointment which I was late for that was my fault but was informed that it wouldn’t be free and told there location didn’t participate. Very upsetting because I heard they were the best but very hungry for money but it made me uneasy and I felt like this place was not trust worthy because why did I get told one thing and they say another so I left because I did t feel comfortable and gave 3 stars because it was a nice place staffed seemed nice.

Same day appointment. Went over my options, clearly. Offered alternatives to match my price range..office staff and dental assistant and dentist were amazing . Very clean very efficient. Highly recommend

BEST PLACE IN THE AREA!!!! I have been to about 5 dentistry places and this one is hands down the best lunch. From every worker there being so sweet and personable to the fantastic Dr. . She was so knowledgeable and felt like she truly cared. Offered more ways to help me on first visit than any other Dr. Thank you

I was forced to give them a star in order to write this review and if I could have given ZERO stars that is what they would get from me. Be cautious with them because they try to charge you for services you never signed up for. Upon completion of my dental cleaning, and as I was leaving the office, the dental hygienist handed me a bottle of mouth wash and stated I needed to use it daily. I refused the bottle therefore he handed me dental floss and said see you in 6 months. The dental floss was $5 which I was unaware of considering most offices will provide you with complimentary floss to promote their products. The mouthwash was $30 and glad I refused that as well. When I went to check out, I was billed $80 for an oral dental screening which was done by the hygienist without my approval or

Sage dental took advantage of a senior citizen that had to have an exam and xrays for an open heart surgery release form. There representative assured me there would be no charge. When I got to my scheduled appointment they said I have to join a sage plan which cost me 149. Then after the exam and xrays (which the dentist said were fine) they advised me I would need a tooth cleaning before they would sign my release which was an additional 561.00 which if I didn't have the plan would be 1129. So they won't sign my release and I could die without this operation. Also they advised me to take (4) 500 MG amoxicillan tablets before the cleaning because they might poke bacteria into my bloodstream and exact words were take these no matter what anyone says, including my doctors!
