It is always a pleasure to be seen by Dr. Briggs. I’ve visited this office before and had nothing but great interactions and service. I’ve also spent over a thousand of dollars out of pocket for a root canal at this office. Dr. Briggs is proficient and professional. However, I declined the deep cleaning service today because of Lauren - the dental hygienist. She was very brash and unprofessional. Lauren rushed the education & calmly mentioned the price costing 600.00 for the deep cleaning despite the treatment plan I signed that stated I was only going to receive a regular cleaning covered fully by insurance. Last year I make my first appointment for teeth cleaning, when I got in her room young Dr came in couple minutes w me then i signed the paper it was over $400 something to my insurance, after that she said I hv to get deep cleaning , I said why -my teeth r good I been seeing my nephew Dentist in Hollywood for years, anyway it took about two months for my insurance approval for deep cleaning, so I did came in and again she said you have to pay for deep cleaning, i said not right, you office called me it’s good to go, i come out talk to front desk then he said we got it you go ahead deep cleaning. After six months, so last week i came back for teeth cleaning, first she says i need antibiotics under my gums , so concern me more $$$$ . I’m here for teeth cleaning please n how much i asked S

This place feels like a complete scam. Every routine quarterly cleaning costs over $200. They try to scare you by insisting that “routine bone maintenance” is essential, claiming that normal cleaning won’t help and pushing unnecessary deep cleanings. They even tried to upsell me on periodontal braces. Before switching to this clinic, I spent $2,000 at my previous dentist for a deep oxy cleaning and was told I wouldn’t need another deep gum cleaning for years—possibly ever. Yet within a few months, Sage claimed my gums were in bad shape and that I needed another oxy cleaning. When I mentioned that I had just done the same treatment recently, the doctor suddenly had nothing to say. This place is all about overcharging and upselling. I liked the dental hygienist I was seeing at this office, but unfortunately continual billing issues and a less-than-helpful front desk staff have me going elsewhere. The office makes you pay the full amount for your service up front, even with full-coverage dental insurance. Annoying, but I could deal with it if they actually reimbursed you. Every single time I have had a service done at this office I have to call repeatedly and ask them to submit my insurance claim so that I can be reimbursed. Most recently, one from August 2025 has still not been submitted by the end of November. I had to call, get hung up on, call again, and ask for them to submit the claim. I don’t even know how this is legally allowed, but I advise you stay far away from this office unless you want to be ripped off

Everyone in this office is customer service oriented. They make you feel like a valued patient. They only recommend what you really need. Knowledgeable and efficient. Highly recommend
