Safeway Pharmacy

Terrible experience. I was picking up a prescription today. Amanda served me and to be quite honest I felt like she was dismissive and did not care for me at all. She did not listen to me and came across as very rude. She was the same way to the customer who was a mother with two children before me as well. To be honest the entire pharmacy staff seemed very unhappy to be there. I hope this not the regular way these pharmacists serve people. I think McDonald’s workers are nicer and they probably get 10% of the pay of the staff at the pharmacy.

I just spent an hour waiting to get a vaccine, and there was only one person in line when I got there. He seemed to have some issues with insurance which took a while, then when the tech had me fill out my forms he helped another couple fill out their forms. Which means not only did it take longer to give him my form, but he also put them in line ahead of me to get the shots. Ridiculous. Then after the vaccines, the nurse asked to do a survey and get a gift card for giving my feedback, but didn't give me the "vaccine receipt" that tells me which specific vaccine variant I got, so I couldn't do the survey. I've never had issues here before, but I'll be going elsewhere next time.

I switched my pharmacy from Walgreens to Safeway and it has been a much better experience. They are always fast, accurate and personable. I think they do a great job.

My only complaint is the long line and how slow it seems like the process goes. I’ve tried different times and there is always at least 2 people in front of me and each person takes 10 mins. Otherwise I have not had issues with insurance or the techs.

The people here have zero personality. But the worst part is the pharmacist thinks they know more than your doctor and will refuse to fill your prescription until the exact day you picked it up, so you have to stress out. I've gone the day of and they have it on the counter filled, but they don't run it through unless you just show up in oerson. They are not worth saving a few bucks on. Especially when they aren't even nice. Also having to go in the grocery store every time is super. Frustrating when you're in a hurry. Even king sooper has a drive through. Their lines are outrageous and they're super long because they are debating everyone on their prescriptions and don't have them ready.
