Sometimes the lineup seems slow moving but I have used this Pharmacy for 23 years. The pharmacists are good guys who have also been there for a long time.

They are wonderful. All the pharmacists and assistants are so welcoming, and deferential like the days of old fashion neighborhood pharmacists which had a personal and sincere care for your well being. The Safeway pharmacists at First and Tangerine are not stoic or impersonal but quite the opposite - friendly, and willing to go out of their way to make sure you are able to get your prescription in a timely manner. Their personable attitude is so unique today; they just make you feel they are truly your neighborhood pharmacists like the days of old when I grew up. In other words it's not just a job to them but a loving vocation to care for others!

Top notch service. Always quick to refill a prescription, with text notification when medication is ready for pick up and the total cost, so there are surprises when you pick up the item. Flu shots and other vaccinations are a breeze, with little or no wait. Superior service all the time. Pharmacists will always patiently answer questions, and on several occasions they walked me to shelved items so I selected the correct OTC item and stayed with me to answer my questions.

Wanted to use this location by my neighborhood. Will switch to another pharmacy. Continued miss communication with pharmacy staff not knowing if prescription was refilled, some staff say the prescription is pending, waiting on delivery and days later told the prescription was never ordered to be refilled. Continuously happens. Do not bother with this location or their staff
