Safeway Pharmacy

Pharmacy had prescription called into them at 10:00 in the morning. At 2:30 in the afternoon they had not even attempted to fill the prescription. The Pharmacist said it would be the next afternoon. I had to leave town so he said ( with a smug look on his face) he might be able to have it in an hour. I had doctor's office call it in somewhere else. Will never use Newport Pharmacy again!

Safeway pharmacy is horrible. They never answer the phone. I have been trying for weeks to get a prescription transferred and they are not responding. I will never ever use this pharmacy again.

If this was 1-2 years ago, this would be a 1 star but I do believe the powers that be made significant adjustments and this is a whole new pharmacy! They got rid of the cranky older gal with the short hair and the remaining staff are always friendly, go above and beyond to help their customers and maintain the small town, "Cheers" environment. They seem to have worked out the kinks with the phone lines and the refill notifications are wonderful! I recently got the app and it really makes things even easier! Great folks, busy because they're the only pharmacy (aside from white cross) for quite a ways but they work quickly and are very helpful!

Tried to talk to a pharmacist but keep getting told “there is no operator at this hour”. It repeats a lot. Please answer your phones.

They helped us transfer alarm meds from deer park, Washington.One of the girls.Their name is Gwendolyn and she is such a sweetheart!
