Safeway Pharmacy

The Safeway Pharmacy does an excellent job with my prescriptions. The staff is medically knowledgeable and professional. With some pharmacies there is constantly a long wait line. I’ve never had this problem at Safeway. I highly recommend Safeway pharmacy to others.

I bought prescribed medicine for the first time here yesterday, and the pharmacist (Vietnamese lady) was very accommodating and quick. The tech was busy and so she took my prescriptions and processed it herself. My medications were ready in under 20 min, the estimated time that she suggested. She also was very clear when explaining how to use my medications. Additionally, my copay was lower than those at other pharmacies and I was even given a 25 dollar Safeway gift card for being a new patient here. I will definitely return and recommend others to this pharmacy.

Terrible customer service at the pharmacy. My son's surgeon electronically sent a RX around 10:30am. I got to the pharmacy a little after 1pm and the RX was not filled. Not only that, they told me to come back after 2:30pm. I practically begged them to fill it because my son had just gotten out of surgery and needed pain relief. They refused and not even an apology. The response I got from the staff was "I'm not the pharmacist" Well duh! But do you have an ounce of compassion? That would be a big NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the store that I spend $1000 a month on groceries at. I don't even want to shop there anymore. Lousy customer service!

I have used this Safeway Pharmacy since it opened, perhaps 7+ years at the date of this review. They have always been excellent. All prescriptions filled correctly and quickly. No mix ups. They call our doctors when a prescription needs a refill. My wife and I get our shots there. Nok, who has also been there since the opening of this pharmacy is especially nice and good at her job. All in all, I have never had a better pharmacy.
