Safeway Pharmacy

This pharmacy is truly infuriating. I wouldn’t say every time, but seven or eight times out of ten, when I go to pick up my medication, they tell me it’s not ready — even though I received the pickup notification five days ago. And only after I insist do they suddenly “find” my prescription, all while looking annoyed about it! Today was the same as usual: I went to pick up my medication five days after receiving the text message, and they still told me it wasn’t ready. It’s absolutely maddening!

My prescriptions are pretty much ready on time. However, I would love to have a non judgmental pharmacist that isn’t condescending because one has a lack of knowledge. If a person asks a seemingly common sense question doesn’t mean it’s the pharmacist time to answer in a belittling manner. I believe that it’s not the pharmacist job to judge someone and have an attitude towards the customers.What even bothered me more is the audacity of the pharmacist to see you standing at the counter and continue her non work related conversation as if the customer is a piece of crap not worthy of service. I am changing my pickup location. The disrespect is not acceptable. The screen protector and phone case were broken after one of the staff members dropped my cell phone, and she didn’t even know how to apologize. Over the past several months, I have visited this pharmacy location many times, and the staff have consistently been rude and unprofessional. They often seem unwilling or unable to help customers properly. My hospice nurse placed several medication orders in advance because the items were not supposed to be over-the-counter. However, the pharmacy staff repeatedly insisted that I should just purchase OTC products instead of retrieving the medications that had already been ordered by my nurse.

Worst pharmacist ever. I feel sorry for the techs that work there, the way she speaks to them. Plus she's a liar. I just got out of the emergency room with my daughters and the pharmacist said it will take "at least 2 Hours" to fill. So, I came back the next day and they still hadn't started them. I will go any where else but that horrible pharmacy!!!

I’m reviewing this place simply because every other pharmacy experience in the Mill Creek area has been dreadful (specifically the Bartell’s on Seattle Hill Road). The Sav On inside the Albertsons on 132nd obviously isn’t in the best area in Mill Creek but the pharmacy is never super busy, they are always staffed well and my prescriptions are always ready when I neeed to pick up. I’m in and out of there in less than 3 minutes versus 30 minutes at the Seattle Hill Bartell’s. Plus, they always offer up the latest flu/Covid shot and can have me out the door with that in less than 5 minutes!
