Safeway Pharmacy

Came in during a cruise stop to pick up a prescription. Phoned ahead to confirm script receipt and explain our situation - the young lady was helpful. Steve explained usage of the medicine, additional options and walked the aisle with us to find other products. He was empathetic, professional and knowledgeable, which was extremely helpful without us feeling rushed.

Like most other Pharmacies throughout the nation, they are understaffed due to be underpaid. I have never had any issues at this Pharmacy and admire their tenacity. Pharmacies provide an essential service but are not treated as such. Norma and Steve, thank you for you much needed expertise and service. Thank you also to the other people behind the counter that I have met met yet. I implore everyone to do your best to exercise patience knowing they are under staffed and are doing their best to accommodate and provide an essential service. Without them, you would not be getting your needed medicines.

If I could give a 0 I would!!!! The want to be a doctor Steve The pharmacist is the most rude, arrogant unkind or caring individual I have ever dealt with in a professional setting EVER!!! I call management of Safeway left name and number they never bothered to call. Unbelievable Carrs would allow a employee to treat their customer in a fashion that made me feel so uncomfortable and insulted that I wouldn’t even return to pick up my meds just transferred them all to my local Walmart. I will never have anything to do with their pharmacy again and if there was another store in town that had options available like Carrs I would stop shopping with them too!!

Never have my prescription amounts right. My prescriptions are never ready, even when they notify me to pick it up days before. They always need 20-30 minutes to prep it. They tell me we have a problem, they'll ask my doctor. 1 refill later they have the same problem. Most of the time I let it go, but I'm going for 3 months and won't be able to refill. So I'm screwed and have to do without.

Thee BEST team ever!! Kalee, Norma, etc...Most kind, helpful, pleasant, human, & personable staff Island wide!! I've never experienced any negative issues at this pharmacy. I've been many years with them! Always on task. Meds always correct! Thank you!
