Safeway Pharmacy

From out of state. Needed a refill. Saw the reviews and thot "This is going to be a Hassle!" Had physician send Rx. Called a few hours later. They answered the phone! Said Yes it's ready. Went by at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Was 2nd in line. Quickly and efficiently recvd refill. I WAS IMPRESSED! Great job, thank you Safeway Pharmacy team!! DJ

They do not honor their own policies about notifying clients when the client's refills are ready. And when Corporate was notified, Corporate took no initiative to contact this store to find out why. Over 5 weeks, and 2 different ways of reordering my diabetes supplies,...Finally this store texted me that my supplies are ready for pickup. It appears that people with diabetes don't matter to this Safeway's pharmacy employees.

This seems to be an overwhelmed pharmacy that does not fill prescriptions in a timely manner and always has long lines. Three trips was common to inquire about prescription. Pharmacist is overworked and as a result not helpful. Will change immediately.

This place is crap. I have tried to get a refill on medication for 4 days now. No is answering the phone or getting this done. Completely lost my trust in this place to get stuff done in a timely manner!

Their customer service punctuality and phone skills are severely lacking. They seem to pick and choose who there nice to. I’ve been going to this pharmacy off and on for a decade and I’ve never really been happy with them. Talking to them on the phone is generally a nightmare, they’re always short and attitudinal. I’ve absolutely had enough of this place. They should be ashamed of themselves based off of what Safeway‘s customer service standards are supposed to be. They need to replace almost all the staff there immediately. Don’t be fooled by there 3.6 rating half the reviews on the page are made up by friends and family, especially the recent ones. Good luck to anyone that goes here. They’ll never receive mine or my family’s business ever again.
