Orban Family Dental

I am a new patient that moved to Couer d’Alene last summer & I was setup to have my first visit in May but unfortunately I broke a tooth & needed to come in sooner. Dr Hoover was friendly & professional & was able to build & install a crown this morning. It fits really well & compared to what I am used to the diagnostic equipment is impressive. I was very comfortable & it was a pain free experience. I love the new age of dentistry because for me this was a spa day.

I have terrible anxiety when it comes to dental treatments, my last visit was 6 years ago. After doing some Google research and based on the high ratings I chose Orban Family Dental. My first appointment was last night. My hygienist is Courtney and dentist Dr Orban. I had THE best appointment ever!!!!! Courtney is gentle, kind, sweet and funny and same for Dr Orban! I have another appointment this Thursday and I'm actually excited about it! If you have dental anxiety I highly recommend Orban :)

Dr. Orban and his staff are the best! They greet you warmly the minute you walk in the front door! They are professional and you can tell they love what they do, very kind to the patients, and the staff actually like each other! 🤓 Dr. Orban is an excellent dentist and Davina is wonderful hygienist! ❤️‍🔥

I am so grateful to have Orban Family Dental as my dentist. I’m someone that has a huge fear of the dentist and resisted going for years. I was so relieved to find that during the entire process from making my first appointment on a phone call to being in the chair, the people at Orban are so genuine, kind and caring. They pride themselves on seeing their patients not as a “set of teeth” but as people and I experienced that firsthand. They did their best to make me feel comfortable during the entire process, I had such an amazing experience and I look forward to recommending Orban to my friends looking for a dentist that goes above and beyond! Chelsea really made me feel cared for and I appreciate her and everyone I met at Orban so much.

I'm pretty shocked to see there are only five star reviews... As a person who is from the UK and lived in Canada and now the states, I have a lot to base for comparison and don't just accept exorbitant treatment plans without several opinions first. I had to wait ages in a room for a treatment plan but then finally had to leave and just wanted it emailed to me, I had already heard it was going to be a lot ! (Suggestions of at least 5 crowns!!) - well my other consults involved one crown and then another dentist said no crowns. So yeh... definitely shop around ! Dentists can just bill so much to insurance that probably a lot is unnecessary and hard to find someone with a more conservative approach. I hate to think of how much this 'treatment plan' was going to be. The staff seemed nice enou
