Safeway Pharmacy

My son and I both get our prescriptions filled here and they are always easy to deal with. Staff is very helpful and friendly, and the prices are good. Much better than Walmart.

Thank you for going out of your way to assist us last night when the hospital sent prescriptions to another pharmacy. We greatly appreciated your help and willingness to get us taken care of.

The pharmacist went above and beyond, calling several representatives to ensure I was able to use a savings program from the manufacturer. He was so kind throughout the process and brought my $400 prescription down to $50.

I had heart surgery on Wednesday afternoon and my prescription was called in to this pharmacy before 5pm. The meds from my surgery had carried me through the next day (Thursday) and at 4pm I started to feel some pain in my chest and went to pick up my prescription and was told that they had my Asprin but my other meds would not arrive until after 2pm Friday. My pain continued to get more intense and I ended up having to go to the ER where I was given 1 nitroglycerin tablet and within minutes I felt fine. Come on Safeway, you know these are heart meds and because you could not extend me the courtesy of a phone call to tell me you couldn't fill my prescription I had to go to the emergency room and the expense that comes with it, we're trusting you with our health and often our lives you

Limited options here in Benson. The pharmacy folks are well-trained, polite, and seem to know their job. Their produce department sorta sucks... disorganized, not well kept, always understocked, lame organic section, and bagged lettuce is always days from expiration dates. The meat department is courteous and pretty good at keeping things stocked. There are definitely quick cashiers and cashiers to avoid, and the same goes for baggers. There must be a store policy to never call for cashier assistance until customers start yelling "three's a crowd." I'm guessing poor management or simply laziness is to blame. Baffling... but hey, it's Benson. I'd rate it better if I didn't know for a fact that a magnificent Safeway is down the interstate in Vail. That Safeway is superior in every facet as
