Rush Convenient Care - South Eola

I visited this clinic on Tuesday with a sore throat and body aches, and informed the provider that my older child had been exposed to Flu A at daycare. Despite that rather relevant detail, I was only tested for strep which, unsurprisingly, was negative. Fast forward to this morning I take my youngest to the ER and discover that not only do they have Flu A, but so do I. I’m not entirely sure how taxing it would have been to perform a flu swab during my initial visit, but it appears that step was somehow overlooked. Given the circumstances, that oversight feels less like a minor miss and more like a glaring lapse in basic clinical judgment. If you can drive an 15 extra mins away from this one, go to the Oswego location.

Back in March of this year, I was cutting an onion and literally chopped the top side of my index finger and nail off and it was dangling. The NP Mefful Anuoluwapo did great and repaired it best she could and gave me a timeline for recovery and some tips. Fast forward just a couple months and it went back to normal. Healthcare can be a stressful job, I’ve been here twice this year and both visits were beyond phenomenal.

Whenever my family has minor colds, flu, Covid, or strep we always come here and the staff is always so friendly and helpful. It definitely beats the ER on a Sunday.

I had a terrible experience at Rush Copley Urgent Care. It seems like they don't care about their patients at all. Last time I visited, their lunch break was from 1 to 2 PM, so I planned around that. Today, I arrived at 12 PM, only to find out it was lunch time again! There was no consistency or communication about their hours. I needed urgent care and had to be back at 2 PM, but they were completely unavailable. How is this acceptable for a facility that's supposed to provide 'urgent' care? Very disappointing and unprofessional.

Always my place to go whenever the family gets sick and needs urgent care. The staff are great and we get answers ASAP.
