My wife called the office to make a new patient appointment and the front desk woman was extremely rude and refused to make an appointment because we are trying to transfer from another gastroenterologists office. She kept saying we wanted a second opinion and Dr Vallina does not do that. I find that absurd but that’s fine we were simply trying to transfer and establish care with him but they refuse to allow us to make an appointment. We left a voicemail with the office manager Mary and medical assistant Rosario but no one will call us back. Good friends of ours recommended this doctor but it’s clear they don’t want new patients that aren’t coming referred from specific doctors or clinics. Very odd.

Excellent doctor, very nice, cares about his patients and makes us as parents, feel very comfortable with everything we need to know. The office always returns my voicemails regarding appointments and questions the very same day. He was able to help my baby with his food allergies. I highly recommend him.

Amazing doctor with so much experience. Very patient and kind. Diagnosed my daughter years ago after being misdiagnosed many times. 5 stars!!

Dr Gonzalez Vallina is an amazing Dr. He really cares about his kids and he is super diligent about his care! His staff is amazing and also really cares about his kids! My daughter loves to go to her tummy doctor!!

We did not even get to schedule an appointment. He does not accept patients looking for a second opinion because "you know doctors, they cover each other's back". Those were the words of the person that took my call. I wonder if that is legal and/or ethical.
