RRH Urgent Care

i’m completely baffled by what i have endured with RRH the past week, usually they are very attentive and helpful. I went in friday morning and was turned away bc my “symptoms weren’t enough to diagnose possible pneumonia.” i went in again today to get a doctors note because i was still feeling very unwell and definitely could not go to work in these conditions. they proceeded to force me into not getting a doctors note all because i didn’t have a fever, when i clearly look sick and have no voice to talk with. it wasn’t until i put my foot down and told them i needed a doctors note that they finally gave me one. they were so incredibly insensitive and cold to my needs. Not to meantion i waited two hours just to get in a room both times when there was no other patients in the parking lot. w

no one in the parking lot or waiting room walked in at 8:47 was told to leave as last walkin was available till 8:45. Thank god i wasn’t bleeding, or having a heart attack since they didn’t even ask what brought me in. medicaid at its best for sure. I’ll be sticking to well now.

I went in with my sister who had an insanely bad cough and high fever. We were waiting in the waiting room for 40 minutes and there was no one anywhere. The front desk was super sweet and helpful but a wait that long with a completely empty waiting room is unacceptable.

This place is of absolute utter disgust. The only thing that I will say about it that is the front of the house staff is always pleasant and kind. (the receptionists). I went there tonight and the nurse working was just short of absolutely evil. Had absolutely no compassion, personability, or couth. Shoved a swab so far up my nose and then grinned in my face. Also questioned “those are your only symptoms” like I was not deemed to be there. I have never experienced something like this in my 35 years of life. I walked out and will never return. Please do yourself a favor and do not go to this urgent care. This is not the first time I have had an unpleasant experience here with the nurses. I gave it one more try and it continues to fail with humanity.

Took my daughter to be seen on Saturday for strep s/sx. She had already been seen with a negative strep test earlier that week but her s/sx were worsening by the day. After waiting to be seen for 1.5 hours the provider told us she doesn’t treat strep. Thank god the awesome nurse took a good sample as my daughter’s results came back positive on Monday through her PCP who DID treat her positive strep. By then she had already had strep for a week and she was dehydrated, running a fever, having emesis and could barely walk due to not being able to eat/drink. Our next step was going to be the ED for IV fluids but her PCP treated her. UC called me WEDNESDAY, 2 days after her PCP has already started her on antibiotics, stating they were FINALLY going to treat her for positive strep when they coul
