I scheduled a primary care appointment at the beginning of February (three weeks ago) to go in on the 24th. On the 23rd they called to cancel my appointment. I called back and let them know that I needed to be seen asap because I have epilepsy and am going to run out of my medication within a few days. Why I scheduled the appointment.. the receptionist put me on hold to speak with a manager and when she got back on the line, she said “the soonest appointment we have available is March 18th. Does that work for you?” From what I’ve stated in my review, obviously that appointment wont work for me, I’d be out of my meds and having full on tonic clonic seizures at that point. I was a patient of Dr. Kerry Graff's, and was sad to see her leave. At that time, the office appeared to be short staffed and stressed, and I was very skeptical of returning here for care. I recently needed the help of PCP (fall, 2024), and after not being able to get in soon enough elsewhere, scheduled an appt with Dr. Piotrowski, in spite of questionable reviews. I was very surprised to experience a much more organized and compassionate staff, from check-in to Physician's Assistant, to talking with Dr. Piotrowski. I was under a lot of stress, and he made a point of listening to all my concerns without interrupting me, and helped me figure out what we could do to address and assess what was going on. Patient care has steadily and rapidly declined since Dr.Graff left the practice. The focus now seems to be on generating visits and billable procedures with minimal in-office visit time.
