Royse City Emergency Hospital

This is my go to Urgent care and the VA accepts them! Also they have a First Responder/Teacher/Nurse program they utilize for only $50 copay. Today I had to take a trip to them. My nurse was Jennifer and my MRI tech was Kevin, both Medical Staff were phenomenal and went above and beyond!! I’ve had Jennifer before and she has always been pleasant, respectful, kind and empathetic. My Physician was great also! Very informative. They have multiple systems onsite like Xray, MRI and I believe a Cat Scan system. What takes hours or even multiple follow-ups can be done within 30-45 mins sometimes a little over an hour. This is the 5th time I’ve been to them the longest we were here was 3 hours due to my medial issues, but other than that no more then 45mins-1hr and you are out. Some days they are

Doctor Madeline Aponte-Lopez and the entire staff—from reception to the nurses—were absolutely amazing. It may sound cliché, but I truly have no words to describe how outstanding their care was. I felt safe and well taken care of. They checked on me frequently and even stayed in my room to talk with me, simply to make sure I felt comfortable, supported, and at ease. I am genuinely grateful for the treatment I received in the ER. Please keep up the excellent work and the positive energy. You are all awesome! Btw: the warmed blanket was top notch! The gentleman at the front (the first person you see when you come through the doors) was beyond welcoming, he was communicative & kept a smile on his face. & A smile really goes a long way. I was called back by a female nurse who was so easy to talk to, I felt that I could be honest without judgment, & that is SO important with the work that nurses do. The DR and his 4 year nurse intern (I believe that’s what his title was) were very professional, addressed my concerns & I felt heard. Upon discharge, the woman who I’m assuming deals with patients as they leave (her work area was inside of the waiting room but it connected to the gentleman’s work area at the front) I didn’t speak to her much, but again, she was very welcoming with a smile & a positive attitude. The staff in this emergency room were fast, attentive, and genuinely caring. From check‑in to discharge, every nurse and doctor took the time to explain what was happening. I had a fantastic experience at Royse City Emergency Hospital. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and well taken care of. Dr. Roslund took his time thoroughly examining my injury and even offered a CT scan to ensure my skull wasn’t punctured after I hit my head. I truly appreciated how attentive and careful he was. The nurses were amazing, so kind, helpful, and compassionate. I especially want to thank Jennifer, Paul, and Kim for making me feel comfortable and cared for.
