Within minutes it was clear that this office is a SCAM. Federal law requires clinical practices to have electronic medical records in order to be a HIPAA compliant institution. Why? It is way easier to commit fraud without a computer tracking your moves. I misplaced the piece of paper with my referral, so when I came in I offered to pull it up on the computer, fax it to them or email it to them, all of which the office said they could not accommodate due to lack of computers. I was given the clipboard with forms to fill out, but when I sit down to get started I see that 1) I am filling out no patient information (such as emergency contact info, demographics, etc.) like you normally would, and 2) I have approximately 15 different release forms in front of me to sign. Absolutely friendly highly qualified staff ready for an extra mile to help. I used this facility twice, and each time was surprised how much human attention one can get there.

Unprofessional establishment. Staff eating at desk, socializing as if it not a business. Last patient is 6p I arrived at 5:45p and I was asked if, “I’m one of those patients to come at this all the time,” that they are cleaning to close for 7p. Then I’m getting up with phone in hand and therapist tone when asking me to put my phone away was very aggressive and rude.
