"Every moment is a chance to turn it all around" is complete and total garbage. I was a patient of Ms. Cavanaugh. I was trying to figure out how to shake hopelessness and deep depression. I am in such a state that Ms. Cavanaugh told me (after weeks of sessions) that I am so hopeless she isn't able to help me. I asked her to hang in there with me for a couple weeks and she agreed.However, I ended treatment the next day. Not wanting to continue to see a "therapist" that isn't capable of treating these huge problems.and is also incapable of referring patients to a more qualified practitioner. Now - I'm hanging loose, both hopeless AND helpless. Seek help elsewhere, save yourself the pain.

I took my daughter to see Joy after doing very extensive research as she suffers from severe ADHD and associated depression. Needless to say after 3 sessions my daughter’s mental health was worse than when we started. By the time my daughter convinced me to never take her back to this place, she was suffering daily panic attacks. Since leaving Joy and finding a new (and amazing) therapist she has not had a single panic attack and is thriving like we had hoped when we originally sought out therapy to begin with. I do not recommend Joy at all if you are looking to better your mental health.

Been with Rosemary for over 6 years, she has helped immensely with keeping me on track with my priorities and achieving goals etc. I realize that everybody has their own certain characteristics they're seeking out of their next therapist, but she has been excellent for me and instrumental in helping me stay on my feet running.
