Rome Health

I had a scheduled c-section at Rome Health on 1/30. Other than a mix up with times, I had a fantastic experience. I was terrified but Dr Desai, the anesthesiologist, and all of the nurses were so kind, patient, helpful, and reassuring. This was my first baby, my first ever surgery and they made me so comfortable. We got to the hospital around 7 am, our daughter was born at 8:21am. Thank you to all of the staff who helped my daughter, my boyfriend and myself have a wonderful experience.

This is my 2nd experience with Rome Health, not as a patient but bringing my daughter here for a Lumbar procedure and my brother for Endo/Colonoscopy. Both times from check-in to check out was great. Very professional staff, friendly and caring. I would choose this hospital over the one in my home town any day.

If I could give a 0 I would. I was going to Rome health for well over 2 years. First I had Diane Clute (nurse practitioner). She is nice as a person but should not be in this line of work because she is bias to giving out medication for pain or mental health issues UNLESS you are 65 and over. I am On SS for mental health reasons & have a paper trail to prove I have been on some pretty strong meds previously, however, the psychiatrist I was seeing moved out of state so finding a pcp first then hopefully being referred to a new psych doctor proved to be non existent at Rome health. She refused the proper medication and admitted to being bias towards prescribing it. I moved to Rome the end of Sept.2025. I have been to the ER 3 times. I have been treated horribly each time. Twice for an unknown breathing problem. 1 NP denied me an Albuterol inhaler. The 2nd one got upset when I asked if there were any other tests we could do. So I left. 3rd visit was for psychiatric reasons, I have deteriorated majorly the last few months. I wanted help. They locked me in a room with no TV nothing to do. A doctor stopped in but idk if he was a psychiatric DO or what bc he didn't say or ask much. I interrupted him he made a big face and left never came back. No counselor came to talk. No social worker. No food. No help. Security escorted me out. I told them I'm going to kill myself today. They said verbatim "just don't do it on the property". Thanks. I want to do it

Worst place to have a baby!!! Some of the nurses are wonderful with great bedside manner. The Doctor was awful!!! What kinda OBGYN wears stretch pants to work?!? How do you come into the labor and delivery room with your cellphone in hand?? ( is there somewhere else she needed to be) The worst experience ever!!!They fixed the building and now they need to fix the staff. Jen, Marly, Leslie, and Jemalee (I’m sure I am spelling that wrong ) they are awesome people and we appreciate them. If you can, find a better place to have your baby. It’s should be a wonderful experience not a stressful one.
