In August of 24 I had a positive cologaurd test and was referred here i received two separate phone calls for next day appointments that I was unable accept due to having other appointments scheduled on those days I was never given an appointment .In January of 20 25 I called to ask about an appointment and was informed that I would need to call my doctor for a new referral because the first one expired at that time I asked why I was never given an appointment but it was left unanswered, Another referral was sent and I actually went in to see someone In the first week of May 2025 and was told that they were marking it as urgent for me to have a colonoscopy because it had been so long since the positive cologaurd and if I didn't hear back from them in a couple weeks to call .May 21 2025 I

I was referred to Rome Health Gastroenterology for a routine colonoscopy with Dr. Wolf, and my experience was a positive one. During the initial visit I was made to feel welcome, and the staff worked patiently with me to schedule a convenient appointment. Later, when I messaged to ask if the prep prescription could be changed, I received a prompt and responsive reply. The day of the procedure the nurses were professional, but friendly, and I felt comfortable and confident going into the procedure. The room was a bit chilly and we had to wait a short time for the full team to assemble, but these were very minor inconveniences. I'd be comfortable recommending the practice to a friend.

My primary care physician booked an appointment for me at this practice for 4/2/25 at 11:30 am. I arrived at 11:00 am only to be told that I also had an appointment with them at 10:00 am and they considered me a no show. I was not informed in any way of this 10:00 am appointment. I then received a letter from this practice chastising me for not calling them to cancel my appointment. In my opinion, to be treated like this after waiting months for an appointment is both insulting and unprofessional.

Absolutely the worst place to deal with. Waited almost a year for procedure. Than they cancel it three days before because I didn't answer the phone while camping. Scheduled for the 25th, they tell me it's on the 23rd but cancel it on the 21st.

I’m so upset I had to write a review. My family member had to go for procedure this week Endoscopy Unit. Well the Nurse that admitted my family member was beyond rude and condescending. Short no personality also airhead. Made my family member so uncomfortable. I asked her name she responded Kaley. The Doctor was fine but will never return Just a bad experience . Too bad for Rome hospital you should hire more pleasant nurses when asking Medical questions.
