I agree with the other one star reviews. I had a serious tear in my retina and had surgery. After telling me I would see better than ever, my retina continued to tear and I had several more surgeries in short amount of time. My eyesight did not go back to what it was. I realized my sight was getting worse shortly after my last surgery. He could not explain why this happened. I moved on to a top retinal specialist who was stunned when he saw the lack of notes in my chart. The new doctor explained that there wasn’t any way to repair what was done and that we needed to focus on my “good eye” to keep it healthy. He explained that my vision in the left eye would deteriorate over time. So here we are….approximately 8 years later and I have almost no vision on my left side. I no longer have depth

I have been seeing Dr. Friedman for years and have referred many friends because I regard him as the best opthalmologist in New York Yesterday he performed my cataract surgery and I must say I could not be happier. The procedure went flawlessly, and I am grateful for my clearer brighter vision. I will not let anyone else touch my eyes as long as dr. Friedman is in practice

Extraordinary. I have been to (too) many physicians and can distinguish good from superb. Dr. Friedman is extraordinary.

Undoubtedly the best ophthalmology experience ever. And, I have had quite a few. Highly recommend.

I’ve been going to Dr. Friedman for more than 20 years and I can say that he’s the best there is. Kind, smart, caring, etc. He is knowledgeable and such a pleasure to visit (even when you’re having an issue with your eyes). Every procedure and visit is done with care and professionalism.
