Roanoke Dental Care

Crown nightmare!!!!!!!!! They used to be a great dental group at one time. However, in the last few years, things started taking a turn. I needed a crown late last year and they absolutely and completely botched it. The temporary crown fell off over and over again, and the dentist said it was fine to let the tooth “be exposed for a few weeks”. They didn’t seem to care that it was painful and sensitive and that it was just not something I was comfortable with. Also! THIS CROWN IS a BOOK END to a bridge!!!!!!!! Note: I’ve had numerous crowns and have never had this happen both with them (before) and other dental practices. Ever. Fast forward, we finally got through to where the permanent crown arrived, and I have only had it about a month and a half, and the permanent crown fell off!!!!!!!!

Today was my first visit with the Roanoke Dental Care location on Colonial avenue. The staff was extremely efficient and friendly, putting me at ease throughout the entire process. They went over all of my options for future work and let me know which areas to address immediately, and which ones could wait. There was no fear mongering to sell unnecessary procedures. I highly recommend them for all your dental needs.

I have been a client at Roanoke Dental Care for the past 5 years that I've lived here. I have always felt very welcomed, and I have never had to encounter judgment that I may have anticipated based on my own embarrassment. Dental hygienist Andi and dentist Dr. Howard are excellent, efficient providers. Andi has done my routine cleanings for years, and her positive attitude and attention to detail make me feel relaxed in that chair because I know I'm in great hands. I met Dr. Howard for the first time today (with a dental tech who usually works in the Christiansburg office who worked so well alongside Dr. Howard). I had reserved 1.5 hours for the fillings, but as a pleasant surprise, he demonstrated his level of expertise by not only in finishing my treatment in under an hour, but doing so

Everyone here is so kind! They are extremely professional and my appointments always feel like they go by quickly. I would recommend them to anyone!

I love the team here the where able to get me cleaned and out in no time. And when they found a cavity they where able to get me in. Very quickly, this will be my fifth year coming here.
