Absolutely unprofessional and incompetent! This agency contracted with Smithtown School District to provide a nurse for my special needs son who has type 1 diabetes. My son needs a nurse on the bus and during the school hours to monitor blood sugar and administer insulin because he is severely autistic and unable to do it himself. The agency provided LPN as contracted with the school district. The nurse worked for a week. However, after the nurse working for a week the agency realized that LPN has to be supervised by RN or RN has to be working on the case according to NYS law. The agency manager Gabriel Gilbert called me at 5:15 pm today to notify me that my son will not have a nurse tomorrow due to the fact they need approval from the district for RN to work on the case or the district ha
