Riverside Smithfield Hospital

I was transferred from the Naval Hospital to the Brand New Riverside Hospital Smithfield.. I really like their Service Doctors are very polite and very nice. They know what they’re doing. The staff was very nice , Very kind and helpful. The physical therapist was awesome. She is highly educated Very, very kind and helpful.. I really like their services

Everyone in the ED were nice and did all the proper tests to try figuring out what was going on with me. Big thanks to Ms. Shelia, the RN in the ED, for being very gentle and talking me through the process.

This was the WORST experience I have ever had with a medical care provider. After politely asking a question about the treatment of my minor son (with whom the ER doctor did not even spend one minute), the doctor was dismissive and threatening, stating he would have me taken out in handcuffs because I had questions about a form he wanted me to sign before I agreed to sign it. It was nothing I would have ever expected in a hospital setting. The doctor got very aggitated and even hostile when presented with a reasonable question about my minor son's treatment.

I was very pleased with the service I received upon arriving by ambulance for a hemorrhage on my arm that I couldn't get to stop during my home dialysis.

Everyone there made me and my son feel extremely welcome and safe. They were kind, professional and friendly! It was a little hard for me to navigate my way into and out of the parking lot but that could be because my sense of direction sucks lol.
