Riverside Orthopedic Specialists Gloucester

We are traveling and visiting Virginia spending time here to see the beautiful places, I suffered an injury on my knee and found this orthopedic doctor online so we sent an email to request an appointment for a knee injury, we arrived at the office this morning to see if they could see us but due to the staff had not retrieved the email we were declined service because we didn’t have an appointment which is understandable but being a knee injury is a serious concern we were hoping that they would make an exception. The lack of empathy for these types of situations are not a common practice in our State (TX).

I’ve been seeing both Riverside orthopedic surgeons for chronic leg pain since 01/2022. First was the knee surgeon Dr. Perez and nothing was found in zests or MRI. I next saw the hip sergeon Dr. Hospodar who initially did an xray. He said mild arthritis but nothing wrong. Had an mri done on hip in June 2023 and Dr. Hospodar said everything was fine and I needed to stretch. I did PT for 3 months and no changes. Went back to practice and was told they didn’t know and good luck. I got a 2nd opinion from a Sentara surgeon who showed me I had bone on bone in my hip joint. I was shocked b/c for the past 2 yrs I was told my joints were fine and there was no reason for my pain. Needless to say, I will not be going back there and wouldn’t recommend this practice to anyone else. I’m very
