Ive lived around here all my life. I moved into town about 4 years ago. I have 4 kids and have had moments where we had to come here and never had an issue until last week. My son has had stomach issues on and off and I cant ever seem to pinpoint whats going on. He went to his pediatrician Wednesday and was fine. We talked about what could be going on because they always think its something viral and it never is because no one else gets sick. I got a recommendation to a stomach dr for him but that night it started up again. My 6 year old was throwing/spitting up non stop couldnt hold any fluids down etc. No diarrhea. Get there about 3:20 I sat in that waiting room 1 hour and 30 mins until we even got sent back. Then we get back there and dont see a dr until about 6:00 give or take...it was

Update: my wife was rushed to Picayune hospital with life threatening issues she went septic and had a twisted stomach and this hospital released my wife and said she was fine. I will be contacting a lawyer this evening my wife is about to have surgery because this hospital didn't do their jobs Absolutely the worst experience in a hospital ever and I'm from New Orleans. My wife was brought in last night to this er she has cancer is weak and only weight 100 pounds and she got sick Thursday night and has been throwing up and diarrhea bad can't control it she can barely support her own weight and I went and told a nurse she was using the bathroom on herself and they could careless came in the room looked at my wife and said well can't you walk boy that burned me slap up and refuse to help he

If possible I'd give a NEGATIVE 10 stars for the ER doctor, lab tech, and most nurses. My vet gives my animals better care. The problem is that this hospital hasn't improved since the 1970's. Many good doctors and good nurses have left RMC to go somewhere else. I went by ambulance on May 10, doctor never order any kind of medicine whatsoever. After being stuck several time for an IV (because I was so dehydrated) the nurse came in and said I could go home. When I refused, she called the doctor in. He said "Stop taking so much medicine for nausea, go home, there's nothing wrong with you. I didn't get any IV's fluid. Long story short, I went to another doctor, who did bloodwork & tests. Brought our 2 year old to this hospital because he had a 101 fever me being his father recovering from the flu 3 days ago I'm assuming he's got what I have. They were extremely rude One of the nurses who does the initial check in called our name four times because I didn't answer right away and she didn't in a very rude way. I tell the doctor to please swap him so we can find out if I believe it is the flu they refuse to swab refuse to do anything and said come back later when the symptoms get worse. We are talking about a 2-year-old why does their symptoms need to get worse.

My wait time wasn't long at all ,all the nurses I saw were very professional, an took there time. The ER doctor, Dr.Neal was very thorough, an professional, he explained everything in detail,an took his time with me...An he listened to what I have to say.I feal like it was the best exam I've ever had.
