Riverside Animal Hospital North

Have been having a wonderful experience w my puppy’s care so far. She had her spay surgery this week w Dr. Alex and the experience was very smooth. Dr. Alex texted throughout to alert us to anything we needed to know and was very responsive after the surgery about my puppy’s recovery and needs. We have felt very taken care of!

My wife had a visit with our highly reactive dog at the Riverside Hospital North today and upon bringing our dog to the back room (who was already terrified), she had a child of about 6 years old rush up towards our dog and reach their hands out trying to pet her face. I found this extremely inappropriate and actually very dangerous for a professional vet clinic, especially in the back of the vet where procedures and shots are given. No one ever asked if our dog is ok with children approaching her, which she’s not. If our dog had reacted aggressively towards this unknown child, then our dog would be the one put down and the vet would have zero consequences. I like to think we’re reasonable and flexible, but I’m seriously concerned that there’s a child running around the back touching ani

I can’t say enough about the kindness and good service Dr. Alix provided to little my little one. She is a very good listener and makes beneficial recommendations. She made my little gal feel safe and most of all confortable and cared for. The entire staff, notable mention to sam who was friendly, helpful and understanding. Lai was also very helpful as was the tech Josh. I would definitely come back.

Hands down the best animal clinic in Manhattan! Came in with an emergency infection with my 3.5lbs Chihuahua and they took her in immediately. In no time they accessed the situation and calmly ensured me a positive outcome. She was back to her happy self on her walk that day. Thank you, again for taking care of my Tia;)

We walked into Riverside Animal Hospital North at a very unfortunate time--the last day of our beloved cat Tabatha. The staff was equal parts efficient and considerate with their intake and clearly laying out our options as well as the benefits and risks of each one. When the decision to put our baby to sleep was made, every step of the process was thoroughly explained. Dr. Babaev handled the situation with the grace, professionalism, and compassion that comes from, unfortunately, extensive experience with end of life care. Riverside Animal Hospital North is an exceptional medical facility and I would highly recommend it as a partner to help keep your animal companions healthy and happy. That way, you can treasure every day you have with them.
