I want to complement Ben for his awesome hospitality no matter how moods go up and down around him. Ben always makes me feel welcome. He’s constantly helping people with the door. He helps me find items I need when I am walking a resident. He makes time to pay attention to the residents and he makes them feel important. He’s the perfect front desk receptionist. I recommend a raise or a bonus - and he doesn’t know I am promoting this!

This facility lacks resources & staff. The uncleanliness is apparent. Patient's clothing & bedding become lost or misplaced. Patient was admitted for rehabilitation purposes that were NEVER consistent. Please give a great deal of thought about your loved one before making this facility even a last choice.

Management leaves alot to be desired. Count never get a straight answer from the social worker or business office manager. Care staff was decent, but took "shortcuts" in some of the car that needed to be provided. There always seemed to be enough aides working when I would visit. The rooms were filthy, the building overall was pretty gross. Room furniture is busted or dated/old. I never saw a housekeeper while visiting. AC units in the rooms hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Packed full of dust and dirt. The food is terrible. Small portions, no flavor, and all around crummy choices for meals, especially weekend meals. Physical therapy team? I wouldn't even can it that. I have a family member at this facility and Everytime I visit there I'm greeted by friendly staff My family member is always telling me how well the staff takes care of her. They treat her like family. The facility is always clean. I'm glad I chose River Edge for her and I highly recommend this facility.

My cousin has lived at River Edge for two years. We are very impressed and pleased with the care he is receiving there. The staff loves him and they make sure his needs are met each day. Especially April, who shares poetry with my cousin, inspiring him to share his poetry with her as well. The facility is very clean, all of the walls have interesting artwork hanging and the staff members are super friendly and helpful. We highly recommend River Edge for your loved one!🌞
