Richmond Beach Rehab

My first time at Avemere Richmond beach Rehab. The staff, nurses,Nac,are Very friendly, courteous helpful, supportive .this Rehab is nice and the activity room has something for everyone such as cookies and cider ,hot chocolate, fruit punch etc daily for watching movie play bingo, arts and crafts,salon puzzles, and many more.the meals selection was good.Galle Hanson ,Tiffany, are the activity director,Brenda,Kavita the admin.helps out.looking forward for 🎄 Christmas party this Wednesday, also their spa room are great.

I spent 8 weeks postoperatively to receive IV antibiotic therapy. I also received Physical and Occupational Therapy. For the most part, my medications came on time. They were always attentive to my pain needs. The Physical and Occupational therapists were excellent and prepared me well for eventually being discharged to home. While the food was not always to my liking, it was edible. Most of the time it was okay. I have seen far worse places. I would recommend this as a good place to Rehab.

As someone with high expectations, and who is highly engaged with the care of my mother, I was 100% satisfied — and grateful! — for all the compassionate, professional care shown my mother over the last two weeks. She came in pretty low and dispirited, and very much in need of rehab. Her statement to me was that she became re-acquainted with trying while there, and that she feels stronger and ready to move on. I heartily endorse the team of people who looked after my mother — all the way up to the business office even. Every person I encountered at Richmond Beach was stellar, and had my mom’s best interests at heart. And in the middle of the pandemic no less!!!!!!

Wow! Very toxic environment. The CNAS are just plain mean. I went to visit, and there were a few toxic, mean girls syndrome going on. Today, the lady delivering the food and setting it up was rude, condescending, and very unprofessional. You never know what someone is going through and to go out of your way to treat people this way is unprofessional. Whenever I see incongruency amongst healthcare staff, I must question the integrity of the company and staff. These are sick and vulnerable people here; Easy prey for victimizers.

My mother, a hospice patient, passed away at this nursing home. The staff were very caring and supportive. I was able to stay in the room with my mother until her final day. No facility is perfect, but I will say, compared to some of the other homes I've been to, without question this facility was superior to the others. At no time did I have a negative experience. I was given all the support I needed at a very difficult time in my life.
