Richard A.H. Jimenez, MD - Western Washington Medical Group: Rheumatology

I am deeply disappointed with my experience at Western Washington Medical Group Bothell Rheumatology regarding a referral to Dr. Jimenez. Before submitting a referral, I contacted the office to ask whether they accept self-pay patients. I clearly explained which insurance I have and that I understood they are not contracted with it. The woman I spoke with during that first call was kind and helpful. She confirmed that self-pay would be acceptable, provided pricing information, and instructed me to have my PCP send a referral with specific documentation. I followed those instructions exactly. After the referral was sent, I called 1–2 weeks later to confirm it had been received. I was told it was received and that Dr. Jimenez typically takes about two weeks to review referrals. I waited a

Dr. Jimenez is professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. He took the time to answer questions and showed complete with familiarity with my mother’s medical history - he has managed her care for many years. He also showed remarkable patience and encouragement when communicating with her since she now has dementia. We really appreciate his expertise and approachability. He is one of the best!

Dr Jimenez was a wealth of information, listened attentively and was very thorough in his evaluation. I am so confident in the care I am receiving.

My appointment with Dr. Jiminez gave me hope back. He went above and beyond addressing not just my AS, but some of my adjacent issues as well. He is thorough, diligent, and supportive. I could not reccommend him enough.
