I can’t express how happy I’ve been with this particular location! When I brought my dog of 15 years and found out he had renal failure, they were very sympathetic and tried all they could to help make him more comfortable in his final days. With all of my cats, they’ve been amazing too! From regular checkups to when one of them has been sick and needed tests and more done, they’ve made sure to go over everything thoroughly so that I understand their estimations and reasoning. And they take my opinions into consideration and make me feel heard, like when I felt a medication wasn’t working and wanted to try something else. I would give this place negative stars if the option were available. Let me just say this, these people don’t care about your animals, only lining their $pockets. Their knowingly willing reckless behavior has left me without a dog …. actually my best friend. She passed away. I contacted “these people” last week for her prescription medication refill and they turned me away because they wanted me to spend more money before they would refill her prescription. I tried to make an appointment during our back-and-forth emails about her prescription refill that she has been on for the past few months (As they prescribed) but they never helped me. Stay far away from these people they don’t care about your pet. They only care about themselves and the money they make off of your misery. S

Dr Hart and the vet techs are great with my dog. He gets super nervous and freaks out and they handle him with such kindness and compassion. Dr Hart is also great with humans, she is easy to talk to and explains everything that is going on. It's obvious that she is very smart and knows her stuff. So happy I switched to this vet!

Can’t say enough about this place! We’ve had 5 of our dogs taken care at this facility and they’ve gone above and beyond for us. We even had one of our pups diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease that they caught early in his life. He would have lasted 6 months and he’s now 7yrs old under their care. The doctors, staff and owner are all amazing!!! Thank you RIAMC! ❤️

I am so grateful we have such an amazing veterinarian team so close to home! Our dog, Chloe, has been going here for the past 8 years. Every doctor and technician that we have seen has really taken the time to make her feel comfortable during check ups and are always thorough in explaining the cost of testing/medication as needed. My dog was attacked a couple of years ago by another dog and they stayed open late to make sure she was okay and could come home that night. I highly recommend Rhode Island Animal Medical Center.
