Just came home from 2 level Lumbar fusion. Great hospital! Excellent care! Dr Shahim did an awesome job destabilizing my spine.

Well Dr. James Adametz, M.D, This is my review. Here is what an honest review is like coming from a very grateful Christian Believer that lives by God's Word And Faith In What God leads us through. One of his disciples was a physician (Doctor Luke) so I believe he placed you here for me. What a Gentleman, and a Fine Doctor. Just very Thankful to have a Doctor that's interested in his Patients and caring about their feelings and Pain. I'm thankful that Doctor James Adametz is a God fearing Man that knows he can't do anything unless God guides his decision and his hands. I prayed God would take care of me, lead your hands and the Surgery would be a complete success. Well God never fells, Always on time and Always ready for any prayer that is asked of him. I went for my spodylolithesis surgery and after it was done my left side of my back kept swelling. I told him about it and he said something popped in there and it will heal itself. Well NO it hasn't. It still is swelling and causing me back pain and makes my left leg swell. It also is affecting the nerves in my legs. I'd like to have it fixed. He should have offered that when I told him there was swelling and he should have fixed whatever popped when he was doing the surgery.

Overall a good experience, as good as having surgery can get. A little miscommunication between staff and doctor maybe but my surgery went well and efficiently and they have made every effort to check up on me and ensure my recovery is going well. Dr. Shahim was to the point but not unkind and did a good job on my spinal cord! Besides the pain from the surgery, the constant 24/7 burning and tension I've become used to as part of my life the past 13 years seemed to be gone instantly, and I'm in such high hopes that Dr. Shahim has given me back my life! I have a follow-up with him Monday and can't wait to thank him!

Dr. Shahim tried to discredit what three other doctors have diagnosed me with over the last ten years. I have degenerative scoliosis. I've already had three back surgeries because of it. He looked at the lower portion of my spine only and said that it was not scoliosis, just degenerative disc disease. How can you determine if someone has scoliosis or not when only looking at half of a spine. Ridiculous. He was not compassionate at all. He gave me the impression that he was definitely in his career choice for the money, not for compassionate care.
