I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the work being done at Revelation Perfect Love. The counseling/therapy I have received there has far surpassed any and all secular therapy I have participated in. Having learned certain techniques such as thought-diffusion in secular therapy has been helpful, however there’s a huge difference between simply managing symptoms versus getting to the root of the problem. Learning to see ourselves the way God sees us is transformational. Learning to renew our mind is something that is accelerated when we are walking alongside others who know their identity in Christ. My session with Pastor Carey Price was life-changing. As a businesswoman, I was constantly persevering with no results, stuck in cycles of pressure, fear, and self-doubt. Through her spiritual discernment and the leading of the Holy Spirit, she uncovered a generational stronghold of control rooted in childhood wounds and critical parenting. She showed me how these strongholds block God’s wisdom and peace. Through prayer and God’s power working through her, that stronghold was broken and a heavy burden lifted.
