5 stars for the entire staff at the Jupiter office. They are the most personable and friendly staff I have ever encountered in any doctor’s office. 5 stars for Dr. Shield because he’s awesome. Doesn’t talk down to you. He includes you in his process of diagnosing and treatment by talking to you, not at you. He listens to you as well, and his response always exudes, sincerity and compassion. The issue with my eyes was very concerning, but I always felt comfortable and at ease walking into his office.

Had a few visits with Dr. Ryan Shields and His attention to detail is refreshing. His mainstream explanation of complex issues and solutions are refreshing. Being in health care myself, I really appreciate the wording and explanations put in a way that is easy to understand. Everyone at the practice is attentive, friendly and professional. Highly recommend them for any type of retina concerns.

I've been seeing Dr.Shields for about a year and a half for Wet Macular Degeneration. He has always been kind, gentle and caring, explaining everything. I recommend him very highly. I worked in the medical field for over 30 years and he is one of the best Opthalmologists.
