I recently had a hospital stay, and I want to sincerely thank the entire team for the care I received. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with professionalism, urgency, and compassion. I came in dealing with high blood pressure, and the staff took my condition seriously right away. The nurses were attentive, calm, and reassuring during a very stressful time for me. They monitored me closely, explained the medications they were giving me, and made sure I understood what was happening every step of the way. What stood out the most was how respectful and patient everyone was. No one made me feel rushed or dismissed. I had several visits to RHC recently and I was so impressed with everyone that I met. At their imaging center on 2/9/26, I met one of the FRIENDLIEST ultrasound specialists I had ever encountered. The woman who did my ultrasound was welcoming and friendly and she talked with me as she did my ultrasound. We chatted about a variety of topics and she had a student who also performed some sonography on my legs. I left that appointment feeling very cared for and I appreciate their kindness and compassion so much. On 2/6/26, I went for a pre-surgical appointment and met several people who impressed me greatly with their kindness and compassion. We took my mom to the ER last night because she had very bad abdominal pain. The first nurse who settled her in the room was nice, but later another nurse was extremely rude and unprofessional. We called her for water and she did not say anything and cut the call line. Later the doctor came with my mom’s ultrasound and CT scan results, and I asked if my mom could drink water. The doctor clearly said yes. After that, when we asked the nurse for water again, she said, “I can’t bring it now, I will bring it when I can,” which was rude and unclear. She never brought water at all. If she had difficulty moving or doing the task herself, she could have asked another staff member to bring water for my mom, but she did not. I gave birth at this hospital last week and my experience with all the nurses and doctors were great. The nurses and doctors made it known throughout labor that they read my birth plan and referenced my birth plan throughout labor. Anytime a nurse changed shifts, the nurse went over my medical record and needs in my presence and requested that I participate in case they got anything wrong. One nurse in particular who was personable and advocated for my needs is Anna Mills. She has so much knowledge in the nurse field and provided education on some issues/concerns I had during my recovery at the hospital and how to take care of myself upon discharge.
