Rentz Family Dentistry

I had a great experience as a new patient to his practice. From walking through the door to check out I felt comfortable and taken care of. Dr Rentz didn’t try to sugar coat anything, nor did he try to do anything more than what was necessary! I appreciate that and respect that. I look forward to continued dental care from Rentz family dental. I do highly recommend his practice. .

Here's what I especially liked about Dr Rentz: He has a sense of humor (Is that important to anyone but me?) Although he had other patients, he took time to explain my issues and their solutions. He did this in terms even I could understand. He is young enough to be on the cutting-edge of his field and old enough to have many years experience. He treated me as though he had known me forever. He stopped in at each treatment room to update waiting patients, which in my opinion showed his understanding of folks like me who might be a little nervous. He didnt take forever. I loved his staff. I am not accustomed to doctor's front office people getting it right. These do! I could not have asked for a kinder, more skilled hygienist. The bad? You will want to take a jacket. Its cold in there. :>)

It's always been hard for me to go to the dentist since I was a child. I have been going to Rentz for over 5 years, maybe closer to 10, but it's always been wonderful. They have a wonderful group. They always take note on how sensitive my teeth are to cold water so they let me bring in my warm coffee mug of water to rinse with. Thanks Heather for always being wonderful with that! Great place for all your dental needs.

This place is great! I was in at 11:57 for a noon appointment (my first with this practice) and I sat in the waiting room for about 30 seconds before they called me. I was as led to a chair and Sara(h?) was there to say hello. She was great. We spoke about this and that, chatted for a bit, and then she went in. Very gentle and super attentive. The doctor came and in and poked around (nice guy), then said everything looked good and left me once again to Sara. She finished up, and I left. It was awesome. Shout out to Sara.

I had a deeply frustrating experience at Rentz Family Dental. Before my appointment, I verified with my insurance company that the office was in-network. At the appointment, I also asked the staff to confirm my coverage, and I was assured twice during the visit that my insurance would cover all services provided at 100%. However, I later received a bill of over $400, indicating that my insurance did not cover the visit at all due to the provider was not in contract at the time of service. I called Dr. Rentz office and the staff rudely informed me they were not aware their contract ended just two days before my appointment. How does a business not know??!! Despite my efforts to fully trust the office staff to correctly verify my insurance, I was misled. I would not have gone to this provi
