Renew Wellness at O2 has been such a hidden gem, among the various places I’ve been for PT for various things. JP and his team have been exceptional- listening and understanding the dynamics underlying the symptoms, not just treating pain, etc. The therapy I’ve received has always exceeded my expectations; instead of focusing only on the typical sets of exercises, they offer things like dry needling, compression, lymphatic work, etc. for a more comprehensive, personalized approach and really emphasize education/!getting you back to doing the things you love. We are so lucky to have them right here in our community!

I suffered chronic shoulder pain for 6 months and finally scheduled an app't with JP at Renew/Pittsboro. I had read about 'dry needling' and wanted to try it. Renew was just a few minutes away.....so what the heck? I lucked out booking with JP! He is professional, grounded in his technique, friendly and upbeat. During the trajectory of my improvement, he made subtle adjustments in stretches, massaging and needling. JP is not a mechanical-rote practitioner, but very 'present' in his work. After 2 months my pain is nearly gone, shoulder mobility is 75% restored and I am confident with JP that improvement will continue until my shoulder is fully recovered. C. Kissinger

Wonderful experience here!! Worked with JP, a PT, and he was very helpful with treating my chronic neck pain. The physiotherapy techniques he uses reduced the pain and tightness in my neck and shoulders right away, and the PT exercises he prescribed kept them from coming back by building a stronger, more aligned posture. I am an 81 year old male who recently had hip replacement surgery. Initially, I was a bit worried that physical therapy would not be effective at my age. However, with exercises, focused on strengthening specific muscles, and assisted stretching, PT Horan significantly improved my mobility, balance, flexibility and strength within a relatively short time period.

I have been seeing JP at the Briar Chapel/Pittsboro location for three years and could not been happier. His treatments (soft tissue and dry needling for knee pain) have helped me to continue to work out without having to compromise in frequency or intensity. JP is attentive, knowledgeable and listens to concerns - old and new - with care. His recommendations on movements/stretches I can do on my own have also been really helpful.
