RegalCare at Taunton

I have nothing but good reviews on my stay at Regal Care. As with anything in life there will always be an occasional issue, but nothing worth mentioning. I found the nurses and nurses aids kind personal and knowledgeable. The therapy I received was top notch!! (Rachael wouldn’t let me slide on anything!) which is what I needed. They were encouraging informative and fun!! The food was … occasionally good lol. I will actually miss some of these fine people and I highly recommend this place.!

Horrible! The only thing nice for the 1 star was the sweet young lady in charge of Activities. She bent over backwards to help my mom when my dad died. The nurses were PATHETIC! Thank goodness my dad hired Bristol County Hospice. Her roommate told me BCH were the only ones brushing her teeth and caring for her unfortunately only a couple of days a week. They told me the bed sores were so bad they could see the bone in her bottom. Because she couldn’t walk, they NEVER washed her hair—they used dry shampoo. She lost 40 pounds in just over 4 months! They just left her laying in the bed and didn’t do much of anything of PT or trying to feed her. You better be there EVERY DAY for your family member. My brother and I saw the Nurse Laura rip off an old tape with the date on her sore on her ankle

If you're looking for a place for rehab 24/7 for your loved one this is not the place, they don't help with feeding or putting you in bed or when she needed to go to the bathroom, trash was full in bathroom took it out brought to front desk and she gave me the pin # for trash room and they try to send you home as soon as possible even if not ready if it wasn't for all of us going in there and helping her all day and night it wouldn't have been not good, being nice on the 1 star

This facility has declined over the past 4 years. Much of the staff is young and inexperienced. My mother is a resident at this facility, common complaints about the food etc are pretty routine. Call lights are a serious matter, reports of being left on a bed pan for a long amount of time, being made to stand with one person when they are a two person assist, and being chastised for commenting on how they walk by your room when your light is on. What these individuals need to understand is that this is THEIR home, they get paid to care for the residents, without these residents there is no demand for them! Noone should be made to feel uncomfortable in their own home!

I was there for a month and they showed they cared a lot of getting you better the Nurses the C.N.A. and physical therapy cared a lot about you and I thank them all 😚
