I have an infant that is medically needy and has quite a few meds she needs filled. One of which was a suspension prescription that I’ve been trying to have transferred for over a month. I found out that the other pharmacy did not contact Realo after advising me they would and when I contacted this office I wasn’t told that they didn’t do the suspension here, it’s done in New Bern. The miscommunication was frustrating especially since we were almost out of her medication. I prepaid online so I could just run through the drive thru and pick it up and save myself from loading my twins into a stroller for 10 minutes. Literally a lifesaver, they are always ready to get my medicine even when I forget last minute, always friendly service and consistency that you can count on which is so important when it comes to medication and I love that’s I get an amazing friendly environment with it 🫶🏻

I used to receive great customer service at this location; however the last 2 visits have been less than satisfactory. Especially the last. I’ve been a patient/ customer here since 2017/2018 time frame and have never had a problem filling my prescriptions. The last visit the employee on the phone got rather rude and snippy with me. Cutting me off as I was asking questions because I was confused on new policies. One being that they could not fill my prescriptions because I was a new patient/ customer. When I questioned that since I’m not a new patient/ customer the employee got even more combative. It’s a shame because I used to refer people to them and now I’m a cash/ self pay for my prescriptions.

In anticipation of my husbands knee replacement surgery we were asked for another pharmacy other than Walmart for his pain meds - being Walmart doesn't fill controlled substances (we were told). We asked that the prescription be sent to Realo. After work, we picked up the medicine only to be told after the 20 minute drive from Richlands that they do not take CIGNA insurance. At this point it was too late for the Doctors office to call this in somewhere else so we paid out of pocket. Drug Stores should service the customer properly by calling them early on and letting them know the medicine isn't covered under insurance - it is the proper thing to do, not surprise us when we get there.
