Reading Eye Associates

I went to Reading Eye Associates for my entire life from my early childhood to mid-20's, seeing the same doctor every time. When my new insurance didn't cover a simple procedure to correct ingrown eyelashes, instead of helping to find a new practice this doctor suggested that I 'find a friend that I trust with scissors'. This was a Reading Eye Associates suggestion: that I have an another untrained college student put scissors in my eye to perform a medical procedure. Please use caution when taking their advice.

Out of frustration I left a large practice. Since coming to Reading, I have been very pleased with the reception, my eye exam and the time was spent fitting my glasses. I highly recommend you go to Reading eye. Were service is number 1. And you are treated as a person, not a number.

I recently stopped by there to see if they would adjust some Maui Jim frames for me. Even though I did not purchase the glasses there (it was an online purchase), Robert Colombo was more than accommodating and not only did he do a great job fitting the frames to my face, he didn't charge me. Excellent customer service. I will certainly be back.

Reading Eye is an optometrist who’s been in Reading for many years. They are very thorough, efficient, and do a solid job helping you out with anything eye health related. Their staff is very polite and professional. The store has a big variety of frames and getting your glasses doesn’t take long.
