Rankin Animal Clinic

I have been to this clinic several times over the years and they pretty much let me down every time. Rude and careless. First off they have never solved any issue with any pet that I have brought here and I don’t know why I thought the outcome yesterday would be different but I brought my senior dog in bc I noticed he has a hemorrhoid. She told me she needed to test him for parasites. I found that strange bc he’s 16 years old he does not have parasites. Whatever they did when they took him back i don’t know, but he came back to me in far worse condition than he was when i brought him in. I am writing this the next day and he can barely walk, cannot sit, and he is crying. He is in extreme pain and there’s nothing i can do. Dr. Leber is such a good veterinarian. He is so caring and spends good time consulting and talking with parents. I love and appreciate Dr. Leber. .

Dr. Leber is great! The vet techs are great! The older lady at the front desk is truly the worst person to deal with. I’ve had 1 positive interaction with her out of the dozen or so times I’ve visited your clinic.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Had an emergency with our cat and I called ahead to see if my husband could stop there to receive a veterinarian’s help. Our cat could not breathe due to a hairball stuck but we as civilians could not correct that. This vet was the closest to my husband and time was of the essence. The receptionist first said oh no, we do not handle emergency care. Again, just needed a professional to get her airways open. She then asked have we seen your cat before. Ok, so now it mattered if we were a current patient or not. Then, she said the cutoff time for walk ins was 5:15!!! I’m sorry my cat decided to suffocate at the wrong time!! Absolutely heartless. A reminder that not everyone who works in these pet facilities has your pets’ needs at heart. Some just ar
