Rainbow Kids Pediatrics

We have been going to see Dr. Hermann for 13 years and we LOVE her. She is direct, her recommendations are backed by scientific research, she uses antibiotics only when truly necessary, she talks to my kids about their health (not just to me), she cares about the whole child, and she is no-nonsense but also very kind. She is a treasure!

We were with Dr. Hermann for 4 years and I could not have been happier with her for my kids care. There was rarely a wait, and she could usually see my children the day of. She was prompt to respond to any questions or concerns I had and was very welcoming to our family. We recently moved and I only hope we can find a pediatrician we love as much as Dr. Hermann and the entire staff at Rainbow Kids Pediatrics.

We were very happy to have found Dr. Herrman the first few times we went, even though it felt like she never remembered us from visit to visit. We liked that she has a small practice, and thought her staff was very kind and patient. It wasn't until the 4th or 5th visit for an annual appt that we were appalled and left the practice. My daughters are both quite small and lean, but they are fit, healthy, energetic, bright, and happy. Dr. Herrman made the very poor decision to voice her concerns about my child's weight IN FRONT OF THE CHILD, rather than privately to me, her mother. She told her that she shouldn't be in the running club anymore because she could "drop dead any second" since she is underweight according to the (outdated) BMI chart. We have been going to her for 5 years now and she has been an amazing resource for our family and worth the drive. She gives balanced, research-driven suggestions. She is both kind and direct. When we need an immediate appointment we get in quickly. At our most recent appointment, all of the staff was friendly and helpful. I'm glad we found her!

Dr. Herrmann is an amazing pediatrician! My daughter absolutely loves seeing her. Great bedside manner, very thorough and doesn’t rush you. She truly evaluates the whole child and she has always addressed my child directly about her heath. My husband and I love her approach and trust her whole heartedly with our daughter’s health.
