Had such a positive home birth experience with Crystal! She offers both genuine warmth and exceptional clinical judgement and skills—an ideal combination that made me feel fully supported and comfortable in her care. The morning after our daughter was born, my husband and I were sipping coffee in bed with the fireplace going, and he said in all seriousness, "Wow. Home birth really is the way to go." Coming from a man who vetoed the birth center for our first, Crystal really won him over! We cannot recommend her enough!

I had a wonderful experience with Crystal and her apprentice Lila for my first birth. I had a long labor - about 36 hours, and I’m certain a conventional hospital would have pushed me into a C section since I was taking so long to fully dilate. Crystal and Lila were patient and comforting the whole time. Crystal had some different “tricks” (old midwife wisdom) to try to get baby to start descending even though I had been stuck at 9cm for 7 hours and her experience showed. After a crazy long and painful labor, I only have positive feelings when I think back on my delivery. Our family welcomed baby #7 on 10/10/2025 and this would be our first homebirth— have given birth in the hospital every other time. (wondering now why it took this many babies to go this incredible route) I cannot even begin to express how amazing the prenatal care and birth was; not only for me but our entire family. Crystal played a huge part in restoring things for me as a mother that I did not even know needed restoration— primarily trust and confidence with my God-given intuition and my bodies ability to birth naturally. I cannot say enough good things about Crystal as my midwife. She is so warm and comforting, and I always felt heard and supported. During labor, she was focused and took control when needed. I was never worried or anxious as I knew she had my best interest at heart always. Even after labor she was always there to answer any questions at any time. Absolutely, 100% recommend. <3
