Radiology - The Mount Sinai Hospital

I would give this 0 stars. How can they have a patient waiting for over 2hrs and then say oh the scans are not working. They gave the exact same reason as last time, 2yrs ago. It seems like an excuse and i would advise anyone to never do a radiology exam at this place, because they don't care about patients nor do they care about your time. Go somewhere else.

If you can go to another radiology office GO, I’ve been waiting for 2 hours just to get an MRI. How is it that my appointment is at 7:30 & it’s 9 still waiting to be seen, please don’t waste your time

No complaints about how the procedure was done. They gave my scan to be read by a RESIDENT and I am furious. I paid $17,000-$18,000 for medical care this year. I am going to file multiple complaints with the hospital. I am covered 100% at this point but if I were not I would not pay the copay. They say they have an attending [ experienced graduate] radiologist reviewing the scan but, just as with their clinics, the residents are unsupervised and the sign-off by a senior doctor is just a formality.

They recommended me a procedure my insurance wouldn't cover, and because of that none of the mount Sinai specialists would see me until I got said procedure (that I may not even need). When I consulted with my doctor about this she gave me blank answers saying she can't go above the advice of the radiologist. So now I'm effectively screwed and going to have look for care elsewhere, where they will actually treat me.

This place is a mess. Rude staff. Incredibly long wait.
